WEATHER FORECASTS

Runners or wellies?
We switch on our tellies
To find out the weather forecast;
We want to hear
If it's cloudy or clear
But ambiguousness can be vast;
The day could be sunny or showery
With rain coming in from the West,
We can hear every word that they tell us

THE CRAFTSMAN

The lone tourist hovered at the wide open door
And soon took delight at the sight that he saw;
With camcorder out, he recorded on tape
The way that the blacksmith's forging took shape.   ...(cont.) 

 

STEPS

If you're faced with a hill of confusion 
And you're wondering which way to climb
Don't stare at the steps,
Don't give up all hope,
Don't abandon your quest the first time.    .………(continued)

 

UP FOR THE FINAL

'Twas the day before the All-Ireland
And all of the county was there
Walking the streets around Dublin
With one fellow's wife in a tare:
"Just look at the state of your clothing,
All shabby and tied up with string,"
Then she looked in an outfitter's window:
